According to recent data obtained by blockchain, an unknown Bitcoin trader transferred over 132,255 BTC, which is roughly $1.3 billion in 3 transactions just one minute apart (on the 11th June 2020). Many speculated that the massive BTC transactions belonged to an exchange or custodial service. However, it is still unknown. Reports on Cointelegraph state that: In April a crypto exchange called Bitfinex, had moved 161,500 BTC, or $1.1 billion at the time. This transfer is still ranked one of largest single transaction of Bitcoin in history. Who holds the record:A 500,000 BTC transaction made on the 16th of November 2011 holds the current record.
