'Live! Hotel & Casino' - A $425 million project with a casino and a boutique hotel in the stadium district of Philadelphia, PA is the latest entrant into the crazy world of the East Coast gambling market.
The PA Gaming Control Board awarded a license today to a joint venture of Cordish Companies and Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment to build the Philly's 4th casino and the 13th casino in the state.
The Live Hotel & Casino will offer 2,000+ slot machines and electronic tables; 125 tables for blackjack, baccarat and other games; an upscale 240-room boutique hotel, a parking garage and several restaurants.
As they say, when one door closes (Atlantic City) another opens, apparently with eyes wide shut.
