Feminized indica seeds come from spraying a female with silver thiosulfate so she produces pollen, which is then used on another female, giving only female offspring. Done properly this is not the same as using a natural hermaphrodite, and it does not by itself pass on a tendency to hermie. The chemistry behind STS and colloidal silver, and why a self pollinated S1 differs from a cross of two females, is explained on https://kushindicaseeds.com in plain language. Poor selection of the parents is what causes problems, not the method.
