When one is calculating CB, you need to determine your closing balance. However this is complicated by the following factors:

1) Suppose you've made a big withdrawal towards the end of the month that may not have been processed yet. Since it hasn't been processed, does this mean you need to included the requested withdrawal in your "closing balance"???

2) Suppose you've left a bonus round / free-spins incomplete on Novemeber 31st. Your closing balance is $0, but on December 1st you play them and win $100. Does this $100 need to be added to your closing balance for November?

3) The casino drops a $20 bonus chip on November 31st to your account which you don't use. You also have $100 in your cash balance. Does $120 need to be reported on your closing balance?

Hi James
Thanks for raising those points.

1) The effect on the net loss is identical whether the amount is included in the closing balance or in a withdrawal. As long as you don't double count.
So the requested withdrawal could be shown as either.

2) All bonus money must be excluded from balances. So any bonuses still not played would not be included in any figure.
If you win the withdrawable winnings are winnings in the month the profit was made. In your example it would be December.
You could show those winnings as deposits. This will be made more clear in the rules.

3) The closing balance is $100. All bonus amounts should be excluded.
Hope that helps

Hi Graeme.
I'm sorry,but I have made a mistake.
When i did the Cash Back claim for my December playing here the other day,i put a wrong amount for "December closing balance" in the claim for one of my casinos.
Well, the amount was correct but i forgot, that when i did the last deposit,i also took a deposit bonus. I went into the casino and found out that i still had some wager to do. (if i would, then i wasn't entitled to make any withdrawal yet,and i guess that counts for something when it come to Closing Balance, right?)
I don't know if i there is anything i can do,to fix this mess?
But please let me know if there is.

I'm okay if you choose to cancel my claim for that casino in December (with cancel i mean, let December "Net Loss" be $0.00) I messed up and i don't want to give you a lot of work, doing some big-time heavy math, just to clean up my mess.

And what about when i should do the Cash Back for January playing. What amount should i write for "January Opening Balance"?

Maybe it ain't such a big deal for you guys, but for me as a rookie doing these claims,i'm lost and can't see how we (think that means you guys, sorry!) can straighten this up.

As i wrote earlier,if you let my claim for December "Net Loss" be $0.00,i accept that.

Hope to hear from you,not so much about the Result for December playing (i accept what ever result you end up with) but mainly because i need help with what amount that i need to put in as "January Opening Balance" here next month (February).

Promise never to do this mistake ever again.
I'm so sorry.
Johnny!

Hi Johnny
Essentially, Gambling City shares its commission with you.
So if we earn no commission, we have none to share (and vice versa).

Please send an email message with full details including your username and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks very much in taking part in the activities on the site.

Great explanation Graeme! Please update the rules indeed, if required, to make them even clearer. Thanks!

Hi Graeme.
I don't hope i'm the reason that Intertops Classic now is excluded from the Cash Back deal. I messed up doing the December Cash Back at Intertops, and now they are excluded because "Unable to understand confirmation messages, so can't take a risk."
If i'm involved, i'm sorry and want to apologize to other players that now can't claim Cash Back there anymore.
Sorry!

I screwed up my December claim for 7Sultans, so I let Graeme know right after I submitted my CB claim that it might get rejected. If you feel like your claim won't be honored by the casino and ITS YOUR FAULT for making an incorrect claim, you should let him know, otherwise it could look like the casino is being uncooperative, which could hence contribute to it being excluded.

Thanks James. Johnny, your claim was not the cause at all. They simply didn't answer specifically whether the figures were correct.

Hi Stormei
You can claim for play at as many casinos as you want. There is no limit.

Gambling City currently features about 440 casinos for Cash Back and I have also observed that it constantly adds more casinos to the list.

Just check Gambling City home page, scroll down a bit and click on the "Claim Cash Back" button. A new window will appear and in its top right corner you are able to see a complete list with all casinos accepted for claiming cash back for your past month net loses. There it is.

Provided that you were able to sign-up via a Gambling City link and suffered a net loss past month for each casino in part, you will be able to claim cash back for all casinos listed there. For example, now I have claimed cash back for 19 casinos where I had a net loss in the past month.
