Many casinos prohibit using bonuses which are not played in "the spirit of the bonus".
If this is not defined it is simply a method for casinos to arbitrarily snatch your money.

Players play to win.
There is nothing wrong in devising any strategy to maximise the use of a bonus in order to win provided the player sticks to the specific terms.
Casinos are perfectly happy when you lose. And when you win they invoke the Spirit of the Bonus. It often seems that WINNING is regarded as being against the Spirit of playing.

It's a simple matter for an honest casino to define what it means by Spirit. For example it could prohibit a couple of large bets and then many tiny bets (or whatever it imagines is disadvantageous to it). Actually the odds are the same on each play and the whole matter is simply a ridiculous scam. If a player mistakenly thinks he/she has a "system" the casino should encourage the player to play.

And if the casino does mistakenly believe a certain "system" should be prohibited, it should PROGRAM TO PREVENT the system being used.

To make it even worse, they specifically say in their T&Cs that what constitutes bonus abuse is up to "the sole discretion of the casino".

In too many cases it seems that in their "sole discretion" if a player wins he is guilty of bonus abuse.

Perhaps the worst case of this that I have seen is when a player completed his required playthrough, following all the rules, and then made a single bet (which he lost) which was above the bonus limit. It did not matter to the casino that the bonus requirements had already been met -- in its "sole discretion" it decided not to pay him his winnings.
