I won a big jackpot and, thanks to Steve and Gambling Grumbles, am finally starting to get payment checks. But my bank is trying to give me the third degree about honoring the checks. They're asking, "what is this check for, where is this company, what kind of international transactions are you making?" I'm like, 'what the hell, if the check clears, it's none of your business!!" Has anyone else had this kind of problem with their bank? Thanks for listening; I'm really mad over this.

Bank tellers are people, and they have the right to ask anything they want. Whether they can demand answers is a whole different ball game. PayPal put one of my deposits on hold because of a suspicious abbreviation. Kind of like when you see a personalized license plate and make up your own meaning
