Gambling Grumbles Report:Club Live Roulette Ireland"A report written in a hurry"by Steve Russo
August 2020Usually, Gambling Grumbles will not handle a dispute unless a casino has told the player he won't get paid or two weeks have passed since he requested his money. It is our experience that the matter generally is cleared up without our involvement within those two weeks.
In the case of Rinaldo S of Colorado, however, we are not waiting those two weeks. He asked Club Live Roulette Ireland for $200 of his $600 just 7 days ago and has not heard anything from it.
Why? Because we think it is very important for our readers to hear about Rinaldo's experience as quickly as possible so that they will not make deposits at this casino only to see that they are not getting paid.
What makes Club Live Roulette Ireland different from other casinos? A number of things:
1. Its website promises immediate payment -- usually within hours.
2. It advertises that it will never ask a player for documentation -- meaning that a delay cannot be the result of a problem with documents.
3. Until last month, we never received a complaint about it but we received two in July and now a third one in August.
4. When we wrote to the casino about those two complaints we did not receive any reply and the casino is in our Hall of Shame.
Of course, while we do not write to a casino which is in our Hall of Shame before posting a report, we always send it a link and let it know we will be happy to update or re-write the report if there is a material change in the situation. We will do the same with this report.
As we wrote in one of last month's reports about this casino, Gambling Grumbles always gets worried when we get multiple complaints saying that a casino which usually pays quickly has stopped paying.
Why? Because in our experience this happens when a casino doesn't have the money to pay out. It keeps accepting deposits in the hope that it will get enough to pay what it owes. Sometimes this works, very often it doesn't and the casino goes out of business.
Depending on future deposits to pay debts that you owe is called a "Ponzi scheme". In many countries it is illegal -- as shown in the very famous Bernie Madoff case. Madoff is spending the rest of his life in an American prison for operating the largest Ponzi scheme on record.
Even where it may be legal, it is certainly morally wrong. If a player sends his money to a casino, he risks losing his bets (and his money). That is part and parcel of gambling. He should not, however, risk not getting paid if he does win. No casino should accept any bets which it cannot afford to pay off.
Rinaldo's full complaint reads, "After 2 months of playing I grew $200 into $600 7 days ago I made a request for $200 and never got a response. I tried 3 more times, then I found out through your website others are having problems as well."
Club Live Roulette Ireland is part of the igamingpartners group, which is already in our Hall of Shame. We always advise players to think twice before depositing in any HOS casino, and that certainly holds true here.
Note: While Club Live Roulette Ireland has an Irish email addy and broadcasts from that country we believe it is licensed in Curacao.Gambling Grumbles
