Gambling Grumbles Report

ExclusiveBet Casino: "Lost in cyberspace?"

Lisa E of Germany says that she deposited 250 Euros at ExclusiveBet Casino , received a matching bonus, reached a balance of 3983 Euros, but the casino only returned her deposit and then locked her account -- confiscating the remaining 3733 Euros.

All that she was told was "'As per management decision your account as been locked your deposit refund and your balance clear.' That is it. No more explanation.'"

We originally posted this report with a "Skull and Crossbones" icon, saying that the casino ignored our inquiry. As always, when we post a report we let the casino and the player know.

We then received an immediate reply from ExclusiveBet, saying, "Our records show that following a notification about suspicious activity on the client's account we tried to contact her unsuccessfully.

"Since it was not possible to talk to the client directly, we have decided to refund her deposit and lock the account. Please note that we have acted according to our terms and conditions upon which the client has agreed.

"Please consider this decision final."

Moreover, it told us that it had first sent us that email 10 days ago.

At that point, we did a careful check of all of our emails -- including our "trash" and "spam" files, but could not find any email at all sent by ExclusiveBet.

This left us with the following facts:

1. ExclusiveBet said that it had written to us.
2. ExclusiveBet certainly knew that we could check to see if we got the mail.
3. That would mean it is aware that we could think it is lying.
4. Lisa said she was not given any further information by ExclusiveBet.
5. ExclusiveBet said it was unable to get into contact with her.

The combination of all of this leaves us with another possibility -- that ExclusiveBet did, indeed, write to both Lisa and Gambling Grumbles, but that neither of us received the emails. It is far from unknown that email programs and/or internet servers sometimes develop glitches and it is possible that this happened with ExclusiveBet. At this point, the best that we can suggest is that ExclusiveBet attempt, again, to write to Lisa and, at the same time, Lisa gets into contact with them, citing this post.
