This time is about a player from Dublin (Ireland) which was told he had a duplicate account because an IP was linked. He was told the other account had used a Sports Bonus. -But any player is allowed to play both with Sports and Casino bonuses. Moreover the player in case discovered that the indicted IP in case was according to a internet search located in Bulgaria. Probably will be very handy if someone from Gambling City / Gambling Grumbles can confirm or infirm this aspect. I invite anyone to read the full 18Bet Gambling Grumbles Report, make his own mind and share his/her opinion here. Edited by moderator Tuesday, December 09, 2014 5:53:57 AM(UTC)

This is happening too often then not with 18Bet. It seems a little fishy that they are always saying that players have duplicate accounts and they didn't receive GG's emails? Come on now, no server messes up that much, do they? I'm not buying their claim.

Update: Curacao National Gambling Commission ruled against the Irish player because he played on a duplicate (Bulgarian!) IP. Seriously??
How is that even possible? And why they rely so much on IP when in fact over 90% of the people are using Dynamic IP's? Dynamic IP's means I can run on the same IP which was used by another person on another occasion (the only condition would be we both have same Internet Service Provider). The IP itself is not so relevant, the MAC address of the machine should be checked for linked players as a valid and reasonable proof (easily checked with a cookie). The MAC address for a PC is equal with a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) for a car!
