Hey peeps,
I've decided to make one (or maybe more) post/s every month on this forum. Yes, it is to qualify for that Gambling City raffle which does worth a shot.
But instead to post non relevant things, I decided to give you some sports tips, for free ! I am honest and tell you that I won't be betting any money on the tips I give you because I no longer gamble. Those are purely my opinions. And won't keep any evidence of how many I lost or won (probably also neither update the results) or what are the odds for the tips I post on here !
But if anyone wants to keep such an evidence and keep track of the odds for the predictions I'm posting here and / or count how much profit (or loss) I would have made had I played those tips, feel welcome to post such updates in this journal of mine. I won't mind such inputs.
Cheers all !
Tip: Russia won't lose in the regular time of their game against Croatia at this Soccer World Cup.

"QUOTE Tip: Russia won't lose in the regular time of their game against Croatia at this Soccer World Cup"
I'll happily follow along your thread :)
Although I know nothing about analyzing soccer (or most sports in general), my co-worker (who sits next to me at the office), can't stop bragging about his knowledge and predictions with regards to soccer game outcomes, lol!

Seems like you were correct! My co-worker agreed with your prediction, however perhaps for different reasons. He said that Croatia was the better team, however Russia has home-game advantage and that because FIFA is corrupt, then it will be a "very close call"..........if my memory serves. What this in-line with your reasoning?

He said that Croatia was the better team, however Russia has home-game advantage and that because FIFA is corrupt, then it will be a "very close call"..........if my memory serves. What this in-line with your reasoning? I don't think FIFA is corrupt. They do their best to improve the fairness of the game, at least for major events. See the introduction of goal-line technology system at the world cup 2014 (now also used in major EU leagues). Now the introduction of video arbitrage technology which is a huge step towards eliminating human errors (but some rules of using it still need improved). Were FIFA corrupt they would never take these steps. I too think that playing at home is an advantage for most teams in soccer (and other sports too) in conditions that you don't play with closed doors. I believe that when thousands supporters acclaims every action of their favourite team that gives some extra motivation for the home team and will make their players do their absolute best. That's why in most leagues the teams win more at home comparing to when away. And there is the chance that the arbitrage may also give 2-3% extra for the home team (or just be equally fair). Like for example give a yellow card more easier for the away team than for the home team. But almost certainly won't give anything extra for the away team, because the thousands supporters will make the game a hell (which in turn may make the game much harder to handle for the referee and then he might be sanctioned if he makes severe errors and can't keep the game in hand). I don't think this is corruption, I just think it is the way things are and will probably continue to be. Edited by user Tuesday, July 10, 2018 7:36:24 AM(UTC)

Well Constantin, I probably wouldn't know the ball from the goal and I sure can't tell one team from the other on the field, but it is great to see you here in the forum. You have so much knowledge to share on so many subjects. Good to see you my friend.

Cheers ! I think you could do a job in this field quite well. You seem to be a winner. My favorite sports are football (American) and NASCAR racing. I can also speak baseball rather fluently! I'll be looking for some tips now. katt

I'm not a fan of any type of racing either, so I can't give tips about that. As for baseball, although I dabbled with this sport for betting cash (when I was in college ! -- that means 14 - 16 years ago) my overall results weren't ones to brag about. Along the time, where I had quite a good clue about what was going on was in: soccer, hockey, basket and tennis. So in these fields I dare a challenge for betting tips. On any other sports I don't feel comfortable enough to publicly give tips on. :-) Cheers !

Tip for US Open 2018 (Women): Simona Halep going to defeat Kaia Kanepi tonight !
(and off the record, I don't think it will be an easy game at all for Simona this time even though her odds are 1.15 -- real odds should be between 1.3 and 1.4) -- Last time I said tennis, so be it !

Well Constantin you can't call 'em all correctly, but I still think your predictions are right a lot more often than not. I'll be watching this thread!

Today's tip is from soccer (Turkish Super Lig) and I go against bookies this time: I forecast that Besiktas won't defeat Fenerbahce on their own field !
So, 1x for Fenerbahce (the game starts in about 5 hours from now).

Hi Constantin, please come back and let us know how this prediction went... pretty nervy to go against the bookies! I know Soccer is one of your big 4, so I am guessing you are going to be right on this one.

katt Hey Katt, It ended 1-1. Close one though as Besiktas was leading at half time. But Fenerbahce had more shots (7 vs 4) on target and also hit the crossbar / woodwork one time. For anyone, easiest site to check the results of a game from any competition / league / country (from sports like: soccer, hockey, basketball, tennis or cricket) is: " livescore.com" and for those ones who are curious to see what are the odds for the tips I give here (or for any games they are curious to know about their given odds -- this also include sports like: American Football, Baseball, Rugby, Voleyball -- I see it also have a separate section for Beach Voleyball, Handball, Bedminton, Table Tennis, Futsal, Snooker, Darts, Motorsport/s, Cycling and probably some more sports) they can check on " sofascore.com" website and / or mobile apk's for (android) or iOs ( just Google " sofascore for android" or " sofascore for iOs" depending on your needs). Sofascore also offers very detailed statistics for the most important leagues, games and events. For example for Fenerbahce vs Besiktas one can check: standings and previous matches and lineups for both teams, also ball possession, corners, which player got a red / yellow card, number of offsaids and total shots but it goes as deep as stating how many shots were on target, how many were off target, how many hit the woodwork / crossbar and how many were blocked, how many shots were shot from inside and how many from outside the box and also mentions how many big chances each team created as well as how many saves the goalkeeper had. It also in depth details how many passes each team had and how accurate these passes were, it also says how many succesfull dribbles each team had and how many on ground and aerial duels each team won. And a few more statistics ! Later edit: since direct links are not allowed, I just added quotes to the links to make it easier for all of you. Just copy what is written between quotes and paste it in your browser bar. That will take you there. Cheers all ! Edited by user Wednesday, September 26, 2018 12:39:30 PM(UTC)

Hey Pevangel, I am very glad that you find My Tips helpful ! New Tip giveaway: Napoli won't lose at home with Paris Saint Germain (against bookies again). So, for Napoli vs PSG starts on 6th November, my tip is 1X Napoli won't lost (actually I even expect them to win, but my tip is them won't lose). Cheers all !!! Good to see you Constantin! Of course I don't understand the sport your prediction is on, but you know I like to find out how it all ended up. Please come back and let us know if you were spot on yet again!
