I believe this is a lesson from which we all can learn: the player did a mistake (played a not allowed game - for just one hand, where he lost his bet) realized that immediately, and then continued to play like nothing would have happened on allowed games and he ended up with a huge $11,000 win. - The lesson here is, when you have realized you have made a mistake, make sure you immediately get someone to cover your back telling you that you are good to go and make no mistake from that point on (99% will say OK, be more careful and continue).
But if you don't do that (and save that correspondence), but just hoping that in case you win your mistake will pass unnoticed, or purely put your trust in the goodwill of the casino, well you may find later that you have just lost your dream run life win because of that one small mistake you did. In this case was $11,000 but as well could have been a $1,000,000 jackpot one day. - Do you think the casino is at fault?
