This Golden Euro Casino Report is a interesting one that I'd like to analyze from more points of views and I'd like to see your views too!

First thing: because the player broke the rules, I don't feel the report should wear the Skull & Crossbones symbol, but a Crying Face.

The RTG software is built to reverse to max lines each time when you enter the game and the bet is reflected at the top. This was clearly player fault not noticing this feature. Now, when he saw that he went over the max allowed bet, he should have went to the live chat support immediately explaining the situation (at worse he would have not been worse than it is now). But going on further with the max allowed bets to continue his rollover requirement makes me think he thought that his oversized bets might go unnoticed. (V-BAD idea)

In my opinion, as the situation stands, the player is entirely at the casino mercy. And the casino is entirely entitled to void the player winnings. To me this situation seems like a driver would be caught on cameras speeding with just 1 mile faster than the allowed limit (and maybe the car indicator is showing with 1,5 miles lower than the actual car speed) - if caught on tape, the driver has to pay the fine.

OK, but this situation was also discussed at another prominent Forum, and guess what was the "fair" solution from Bryan: that the casino allow the player to start it all over from the scratch - ie have his bonus + deposit back and try to wager €6,000 again! Are you kidding me?

This screams like: "OK the player won first time, but scratch that anyway you have a good reason not to pay, why ban him and return his €100 deposit when you actually can try to milk him again with your crap bonus offer and maybe also make him your loyal player?"

BTW I called that crap bonus offer because as we all learned the game has a payback anywhere between 92.5% and 97.5%. OK, say it's the best scenario and it's 97.5%. This means that after wagering €6,000 the player should be left with only €50 out of that €200 balance!

However, there has been discussed that also the Random Jackpot which the player won has not been returned back to the Hidden Riches video slot. If this is really true, then it is entirely highly dishonest for the casino! All jackpots not paid out should be returned to the games.

So, the other Forum sees perfectly fine what the casino did, and Gambling Grumbles sees perfectly wrong what the casino did to Thomas. In my view there is another best and honest way to proceed: reset the player balance to €2,500 (the amount he had when breaking the rules without his will), and reset his rollover to where it was at that moment, and add the Random Jackpot back to the game. I'd feel fair.
