I am going to bring up some issues about Progressive Jackpots in here and I would very much appreciate if casino people can discuss.

1) Why many casinos (if I am correct about 75%) are putting Progressive Jackpot wins as subject to the maximum monthly payout when in fact it should be paid in one single transaction because the casino gets the money from the software provider anyways?

- I understand, if you are a small obscure casino you probably have to set maximum monthly limits for withdrawals to avoid a significant cash flow because you pay from your own pocket. But when the money are sent from the software provider, why put a $1,000,000 win subject to the maximum win and so you pay out the money in 5 or 15 years? - Looking to stiff players of a BIG% of their win to pay in full?

2) Why nowadays many casinos are allowing players to play Progressive Jackpot games while having a bonus with a maximum possible wins. Are the casinos looking to pocket progressive wins for themselves? (- In that case the jackpot should be returned and resumed!)

3) I'm not saying that a (big) software provider (such as Netent or Microgaming, or even smaller ones) would fix Progressive Jackpots, but it cross my mind that there would be a possibility to just reset the jackpot (any jackpot) as someone would have hit the winning combination and in collaboration with a casino simply create a fake winner (real colluder, or maybe even imaginary person - game log can be fabricated)?

The only possible way I see that my scenario is out of question is if the Jackpot cannot be manually reset back to the seeding amount, but who can guarantee there is no backdoor for this? (From what I know this has been done in the past at UltimateBet and Absolute Poker.)

As far as Im aware, only Playtech pays out progressives in weekly installments. They get a lot of critisicm for it too because they can collect interest on the JP for years before having to pay it all out.

All the MG casinos Ive played at restricted play on progressives when I bonus was accepted. I dont know about others hough.

I too do wonder though about in-house progressive players. I dont think the game has to be rigged because they casino-hired player is just putting most of his losses back to the casino itself. Scary stuff, Im sure this has been done.

Many casinos (about 75%) are not paying progressive jackpot wins in full. Most RTG ones (if not all?) and also a lot of MG ones and others.

At Casinomeister, I only ever here about complaints about Playtech. Perhaps your referring to some standard fees associated with the other providers?

I'd advise you NOT to take CM word for the sake of your money. Don't take my word either, but I'm gonna tell you what I know and also advise anyone to do his own research before making any assumption or investment. You can always ask casino live chat for confirmation.

From what I know the following casinos are not paying out progressive jackpot wins in full: Long Harbour, Liberty Slots (WGS), Grande Vegas (RTG), 1Live Casino, Play Hippo (Netent), Club Euro Casino, Miami Club (WGS), Guts, Euro Casino Bet, BetAt, Betdaq, Gala Casino, Intertops, MyBet, MoneyGaming, 50Stars Casino (RTG), Casino King (RTG), Casino Las Vegas (RTG), Club Dice (RTG), Magic Box Casino (RTG), Noble Casino (RTG), SCasino (RTG), Las Vegas USA (RTG), Sun Palace (RTG), Jackpot Capital (RTG), Slotastic (RTG), Bella Vegas, Casino Grand Bay, Jupiter Club Casino, Roadhouse Reels Casino, Lake Palace Casino, You Win Casino, 138 Bet, Energy Casino, Mega Casino, Quasar Gaming, 5Dimes, Bovada (RTG), Buzzluck, Club World Casino (RTG), Sloto Cash (RTG), Uptown Aces (RTG), 888, Royal Vegas (MG), Platinum Play (MG), 7Sultans (MG), Vegas Palms (MG), Euro Palace (MG), Piggs Peak (MG), Poker Time (MG), all Buffalo Partners Casinos (MG) (Spin Palace Casino / Poker, Ruby Fortune, Piggs Casino, Mummys Gold, Cabbaret Club, Jackpots in a Flash, Jackpot City, Belle Rock, King Neptunes, Gaming Club, Lucky Nugget) pays progressive wins at a rate of 150,000 per week + all Top Game casinos which pay at a very low limit of a few thousands per month. And I am sure there are a lot of Rival casinos with minuscule limits applied to progressive jackpots.

A lot of RTG and Digimedia casinos on there. GUTS too, which is a surprise. I guess I'll be inquiring on live chat from now on. May I ask if you copy/pasted the above list from somewhere?

Btw, while Bryan and Maxd over at CM are bias to the casino's favor, it's not obvious to me that everyone there is or should be. I mean unless a poster has casino links under their avatar, their not an affiliate and hence no reason for them to lie. Well maybe Nifty is getting comps from CM but the regs there as a whole (who aren't affiliates) are likely just other players like you and me.

Hi James,

The above list is not copy pasted. I have personally checked (with live chat) for my own interest with each casino in part and took notes.
If CM says a casino on my list pays progressive jackpots in one transaction, it may be true only if you are registered at that casino via CM.

I was a regular there for about 1 year and had enough time to see the quality of regular posters. They like to bash newcomers on every error and are not too open for constructive criticism. The only exceptions are probably less than 10 persons and Bryan or Max is not part of them. VWM seemed the most helpful and open person to me. But even him saying he could make a constant profit playing AWP fruities without bonuses raised big question marks for me about his honesty. - Also they see all AP's as the destroyers of "their good bonuses".

The above paragraph is only my personal experience and if anyone else have a different opinion about CM community I'm happy for them.

Cheers,

If I am a casino owner and I have the power to pull off a Jackpot (like is the case with Netent Jackpots which are different from operator to operator) and post on my casino website that Miquel P. from Rio (Brasil) won the $1,000,000 jackpot does that means that it is really true?

I am very curious, is there any authority whose duty is to verify that the identity of posted jackpot winner is real or that those winners are not just fake made up stories? [I admit to be suspicious about the fairness of some (even big names) operators, when it's about big pots.]
