I am over the moon! Last week I won a free trip to the Philippines and a buy-in to the 2010 Asian Poker Tour while playing online. I can’t believe I qualified. I have about two months until my trip. I am so nervous and am focusing on preparing myself for live play.
Some people have been advising me to wear dark glasses, hooded sweatshirts and hats with a low brim.
Um, is that really necessary? I would feel a bit silly with a get-up like that. I am going to have a few goes with some friends before I go, in order to get used to live play.
Also, can anyone give me some tips as to how to observe other player’s “tells”, and how to hide my own?
I hope that the APT is the first of many live tournaments I get to play. My dream is to play at the WSOP!
