OK friends, I just thought you would like to know how one of the greatest poets known fame. Well, money helps. Helped by a great mathematician, he won considerable amounts of money exploiting a flawed french lottery. - Unfortunately this is not something which you can do today, but the idea is, when you get a good bonus or came over a great opportunity, do your best and make the most of it! If you would like to read a summary of Voltaire's life with strong accents of how he beat the house read his full story clicking on this link. Extra: some sources are saying he won 500,000 French Livres and some other sources mention over 1,000,000 Livres mark. As an estimation, in 1700-1800 period a British Lira (£1) was worth between 20 to 30 French Livres. Enough money to open new doors for him.
