Hi Leslie, Just wanted to share a couple of places on Gambling City where you can find lots of the information you are looking for. First stop for me would be the Games Information Index. There you can find information by clicking a game type. Stop #2: You'll want to go back to this one again and again, it is the Gambling Articles page. You will find articles and advice enough to keep you reading for quite a while and I have gotten some of my best tips there. And, of course, you can ask anything about gambling here in the forum and other folks will come along and help you out. Happy gambling Leslie! katt

Leslie,
If you are a hacker, probably you will find some ways to bet disproportionally on "blackjack switch" (this has been done with Playtech casinos in the past) probably can still be done with some new to town platforms. And hackers surely have more "tips" than this. But they don't bother with such things as they know that at the withdrawal time the casinos are very accurate on security checkings and is hard to "run with the money". And if you could do it, you wouldn't do it for €10-€20 a week to have a real hope at passing by unobserved.
If you are not a hacker, but want to churn the casinos out of their money you need to never eat while playing, in fact you must don't eat 3 hours before starting to play. And never drink alcohol or juices (especially Coca Cola). You should drink only water (not mineral water, tea or anything else!) while playing, it helps you concentrate and keep good karma with you (bet you need it if you are not a hacker!).
If you play live casinos table games and you see a hot table jump in there and play two seats at a time if you can. When the dealer is getting cold again move on at searching another hot table but always keep betting no more than 1% of your bankroll. If you are a slots player, look for nickel machines with highest progressive jackpots (that's available online too) that you know for sure never paid the jackpot for the last 365 days, try it 10-20 hands at maximum and leave (if it's going to hit you with a big win, it will happen in that few hands anyway because you trained yourself to keep good karma with you, remember?).
But always wear yellow socks when playing (not with stripes or any other words numbers etc on them - it must be clean pure and simple YELLOW SOCKS). That's like a WILD JOKER in your sleeve for enchanting the good karma to stay with you. Why yellow? - Yellow is the most luminous of all the colors of the spectrum. It’s the color that captures our attention more than any other color. Karma's colour is yellow, it’s the color of happiness, and optimism, of enlightenment and creativity.
If you're playing online make sure you're screen name contains the number "8" and avoid number "42" (and both components of it). "8" is believed by vast majority of Asian gamblers to bring good karma for and "42" is believed to bring the opposite charm.
But despite all of the above "tips", be 100% confident that you are applying PERFECT STRATEGY for whatever game you play (be it blackjack, poker, video poker, even slots or any other game) and be super confident that you do not play after "a beer or two - I mean after consuming any type of alcohol", neither when having a hangover like next day after a party night, or when being upset or tired.
Use a good money management, allot a bankroll specifically for gambling that you can afford to lose in a long time period (say try and figure out your needed bankroll for a whole year) and see how far you go. I'm not saying you will win, but certainly the karma will help you to enjoy your life and gambling as it should be, meant for entertainment! All the best to you Leslie, and ... don't forget the YELLOW SOCKS :-)
Cheers,

is it worth playing slots during the week days? I found never to win on those days like they suck all your money in like a vacume and is there really a strategy to winning at slots or is it just to find the right game that day that is giving out?

Hi Adeline, Sorry I missed this question when you first asked. I have never noticed a difference playing weekdays as opposed to weekends. But there are many people who do have theories on the subject and they say that when the games are being played more they pay more. Some say play at night, others say play early in the day. It just seems to depend on who you ask. Good Luck out there. Katt

If the games are fair it really makes no difference. If the games are tweaked / rigged only at certain times, then you should avoid that times. I remember a now long time closed casino (which used WGS software) was tweaking the double up feature on all its video poker games during the weekends. Only during the weekends, because that is when most players have time to lay down and play a few games. And apparently they had quite many and big players who were playing video poker games during the weekends. So they cheated.
When caught out the casino tried to blame some update went wrong. It promised to refund all affected players (but refunded none or very few). When it was presented that only on weekends the rigging appeared and that it was not some messed up update but a manual feature to fix the double up feature so the player lose it went silent and in short time disappeared. If I am not wrong, the name of the casino was Fire & Ice Casino. This happened many years ago but it is strange that it seems that no trace of that incident was left on the internet. No trace of the casino and no forum posts can be found anymore. - I remember there were a few threads on CM and WOV forums.
